The rooftop terrace and the Louvre bar

Guests raising champagne glasses at the Louvre bar

Two of Empire’s newest spaces, photographed in April.

The Louvre bar has a carved pink bar front, a marble counter, rattan stools, gilt mirrors and oil paintings. It’s the lightest room in the building and the place for champagne.

The rooftop terrace has wicker sofas looking out over Old Town, with a covered terrace alongside for shade. It’s the best seat in the house at sunset, which is why Saturday’s Sunset Socials end up there.

Down on the ground floor, the garden patio and the bocce court under the pergola round out Empire’s outdoor space.
